Virginity / Marriage

I will go through in this section what the Bible teaches regarding God’s standard for marriage. This standard is not the ideal or if we can make it – rather it is what God Commands for New Testament Christians. Be aware that corrupt modern bibles/the devil’s counterfeit, distort/change God’s Commandment for marriage in the New Testament – this is for the purpose of causing Christians to commit sexual sin so that they are damned on Judgment Day. Please read carefully pages 151 to 169 and 54 to 57 on marriage in my book ‘To The Glory of God’.

Hosea 4 V 6: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge

It is surprising how many Christians, even Pastors, do not know the verses in Scripture in which instruction for marriage is given – when considering marriage is the second most important decision a Christian will make, which has Eternal consequences, this shows a very serious problem in Christendom – which is highlighted in Scripture regarding the ‘End Times’ e.g. Rev. 3 v1-3 / v14-19, Luke 18 v 8, 2 Thessalonians 2 v3.

Having read in detail what I have written on marriage in my book, the foundational teaching of virginity for marriage should be understood as well as what God’s Word teaches regarding remarriage, adultery, fornication and divorce. The devil has many ‘red herrings/deceptions aimed at undermining the Word of God, some of which I have already spoken of in the book and some I will conclude with now.

(I have already explained (in my book ‘To The Glory of God’) why a Christian washed clean from his sin (i.e. fornication) is not given license to start again – this would be the same as a thief keeping his ill gotten gains/continuing to steal after supposed repentance, or a liar pretending to repent of lying but continuing to lie under a different disguise (white lies). A false banner of ‘marriage’/’church blessing’ does not sanctify fornication/adultery - because you say a prayer, this does not turn Sin into Righteousness – Repentance means to STOP doing it)

- The devil will state that although the woman is Commanded to be a virgin for first marriage, under the penalty of death/Damnation for disobedience, this is not the case for a man.

This is foolish thinking and the source of such thinking should be obvious:
1). If this applies to women, it also applies to men. If God’s Law states that fornication is a damnable sin and not gender specific (in other words both male and female), which it clearly does in many places e.g. 1Corinthians 6 v 9-10, Galatians 5 v 19-21, Ephesians 5 v 3-6:

1 Corinthians 6 v 9: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

To think that a man can commit fornication as he likes (when ever and where ever) and then go on to marry a sexually pure woman, who must be a virgin to marry - (being the standard for Biblical marriage and which people inherently know is the right thing to do (virginity should be kept for their husband/wife) because God’s law is written on our hearts) – such people who think this type of fornication is acceptable before God, are very much deluded by Satan.

Jesus rules this out, when He states in Matthew 5 v 32 and Matthew 19 v 9 -12 that divorce is impossible (as God states in Malachi 2 v 14 -16, that He hates divorce) Except for one condition – Fornication (sex before marriage) – and the result Jesus prescribes for a man in this situation is to be a Eunuch for The Kingdom of Heaven – Note the disciples shock and horror at the statement/Commandment of Jesus – Matthew 19 v 10.

Matthew 19 v 3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is
it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made
them at the beginning made them male and female,
5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall
cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath
joined together, let not man put asunder.
7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of
divorcement, and to put her away?
8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered
you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for
fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso
marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is
not good to marry.
11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to
whom it is given.
12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s
womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men:
and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the
kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

Do not think Jesus is saying that you can take it or leave it, it’s up to you, you can do as you please – such thinking will end in Damnation on Judgment Day – What Jesus is stating is that only His Elect can receive this teaching and walk in it, false Christians and the World cannot and will not.

Matthew 7 v 13: Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life,
and few there be that find it.

NOTE: if sexual sin for a man was permissible prior to marriage, there would need to be a very clear Law, Old Testament and New Testament, stating that a man can commit fornication (and that would automatically mean multiple times) before he married the virgin of his choice – there is NO such Law and such thinking is plain foolishness from the devil to damn foolish people – The Penalty for fornication, man or woman, is Damnation, without Repentance, Repentance means you STOP sexual activity.

2). Another false argument is to use Old Testament Law regarding raising up seed for a deceased brother who had no children (to ensure inheritance was kept within family lines). This was prescribed primarily for men killed in battle who had no children and left a wife desolate. The brother was to take responsibility for caring for the widow and raising up seed for his brother’s/family inheritance. This could result in a man having more than one wife – this in turn is used to state that a man is not constrained by God’s laws regarding virginity because he can have multiple wives.

Firstly, this is a gross twisting of both God’s laws regarding virginity and the law regarding marrying a dead brother’s wife to raise up seed for him. Secondly, this does not change God’s law regarding virginity for first marriage (a sexually pure man could also marry a faithful widow) and therefore a man having a second wife for the reason of raising up seed for his deceased brother is NOT sexual sin (fornication or adultery) in God’s sight.

Thirdly and most importantly, The Lord Jesus, as with the apostles, rule this out in the New Testament – 1Timothy 3 v 2, 1Timothy 3 v 12, Titus 1 v 6, 1Corinthians 9 v 5 (the Apostle Paul only uses ‘wife’ singular when speaking of married women in the church, except when he is speaking of husbands and wives plural). In Matthew 19, Jesus over rules what He terms as ‘Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to’ and returns to God’s created order in the Garden of Eden ‘From the Beginning’ - One wife NOT multiple wives. God did not make for Adam 2 wives, God took one rib and created Eve ‘the Mother of All living’. God’s pattern in Scripture is clearly seen in the lives of God’s people: Adam and Eve, Noah and his wife (Noah’s sons also having one wife each, hence 8 on the Ark), Abraham and Sarah (except for Sarah’s handmaid Hagar: Sarah trying to fulfil God’s promise in the flesh rather than waiting for God’s plan to unfold through her – Sometime after Sarah’s death Abraham married Keturah – which is permissible today – you could also include Lot and his wife). Isaac and Rebekah (Rebecca) – Jacob also would have married only one wife, Rachel, but after being deceived by Laban, we end up with a mess, for which God, through Moses, later forbids (Leviticus 18 v18). On the other hand we see the wicked in Genesis, taking 2 or more wives e.g. Lamech and Esau and of course many of the pagans around that time such as Pharaoh and Abimelech king of Gerar. God also warns future kings of Israel NOT to marry many wives (Deuteronomy 17 v 17) – it is clear from the Old Testament that many in Israel including her kings did not obey God’s Command including writing a copy of God’s Law by hand themselves (v18), hence many went seriously astray.

3). Satan will sight divorce and remarriage in the Old Testament as acceptable practise – we have already seen that Jesus Rules this out in Matthew 19 v 9 as well as Matthew 5 v 32, Mark 10 v 11-12, Luke 16 v 18, the Apostle Paul doing the same for example in Romans 7 v 1-3. We have also seen how divorce and remarriage was NOT acceptable in Old Testament Law regarding God’s Priesthood the Levites (which speaks of God’s people today Revelation 5 v 10). See Leviticus 21 v 7, Leviticus 21 v 13-15 and Ezekiel 44 v 22-23 (explaining widows).

GOD’S DAMNATION LAWS

One very important fact that is often completely overlooked, is that God gave to Israel Laws that Damned them because they did not receive the Truth. This is similar to what the Apostle Paul states regarding the Apostate church in 2 Thessalonians 2. In Ezekiel 20 v 23-25 God states the following:

23: I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter
them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries;
24 Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my
statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers’ idols.
25 Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live

2 Thessalonians 2 v 11: And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure
in unrighteousness.

I believe that the divorce and remarriage laws in Deuteronomy 24 fall into this category. I believe this for 2 main reasons. Firstly, The Lord Jesus Christ completely Rules this out in the New Testament. Secondly, because these laws in Deuteronomy 24 protected a woman from an evil / lustful man (who wanted to get rid of her and would kill her, if there was no other way, to get another woman he wanted – no doubt a younger model (death ended the old marriage)). Hence these laws spared the lives of many women but Damned lustful men to Hell / lake of fire on Judgment Day – Jesus warned the Pharisees ‘ye shall receive
the greater damnation’

NEVER WALK ON THE CLIFF EDGE

God’s Word is crystal clear, divorce and remarriage will lead to Damnation, fornication rules out marriage (unless 2 virgins who have committed fornication together marry) as God’s Law regarding Virginity has been defiled. Regarding rape, this depends on exactly what happened – did the woman receive seed in her womb? Or was this prevented? Tamar remained desolate in her brother’s house, but her oppressor Ammon was slain (2 Samuel 13 v 1-29). God is the perfect Husband - Isaiah 54 v 5.

We should never walk on the cliff edge, if unsure we should keep well back where it is safe – God’s Law is the Guard Rail, we must keep the Right Side – Those who play around making light of The Word of God, will Perish:

Matthew 5 v 17: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Psalm 138 v 2: I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy
lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Matthew 16 v 24b: If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

RESPONSIBILITY

In the event that a marriage relationship needs to be dissolved, this does not exempt a man from his responsibility to both financially/practically and spiritually take care of the needs of his family (wife and children) – his aim, that they should be citizens of Heaven. If this help is spurned (not wanted) then he is free from such responsibility although he should continue to pray.

FURTHER NOTES ON MARRIAGE – QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Question: How can we be certain that fornication dissolves a marriage or necessitates a divorce (since it is only explicitly given Matthew 19:9 as the single way for marriage to end without adultery)?

Firstly Matthew 19v9 is not the only passage – Jesus states this again in Matthew 5 v 31-32 (clearly a different context to Matthew 19 – read the Matthew 5 to see):
31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: 32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, caueth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
What Jesus is referring to in Matthew chapter 5/19 regarding ‘fornication’ is the Law of Virginity for first marriage (which the Pharisees of Matthew 19 knew very well – hence they did not argue this point with Jesus, but divorce instead (Deut. 22 etc.), Deut. 24). Jesus is stating that there is nothing that can break/dissolve a marriage (as God hates divorce Malachi 2) except ‘fornication’ (not being a Virgin) – Jesus is NOT stating this because you can take it or leave it – he is stating this because the Law of God regarding Virginity Demands this - Deuteronomy 22 v 13-29, Leviticus 21 v 9, Leviticus 21 v 13-15, Ezekiel 44 v 22-23 etc. SO it is not just Matthew 5 and 19 that states ‘fornication’ cancels marriage (although this is plenty sufficient), ALL of God’s Laws (Old Testament/New Testament) regarding first marriage Command this – So obviously if there is fornication there is NO Marriage in God’s Sight – such a marriage is a non-starter and is a defiled/unholy relationship, otherwise God who hates Divorce would not state, ‘Fornication’ implements divorce/is the condition for divorce.
What must also be remembered, is that the penalty for ‘fornication’ – is Damnation (Old Testament/New Testament) – so to get this wrong in this life means Damnation forever – no Christian should be walking on the cliff edge, if someone is in any doubt, they should stand well back (But Scripture is very clear, if someone wants to know the truth – it only becomes difficult to understand if someone wants to get around God’s Commandment regarding fornication – why – because the devil will tempt them with sexual sin, to destroy them – always much easier to follow the flesh, than crucify it). Any true Christian knows that the condition for Salvation is Repentance – if we do not turn from/stop committing Sin, we will not be saved – So which Sin can we continue in once we are Born Again, the answer is NON (otherwise we are still a Liar, thief, blasphemer etc.) – so why does the so-called church, state, that people can continue on Monday in what was fornication/adultery on Saturday, after a supposed sinners prayer on Sunday. They are claiming to have the power to sanctify sexual sin/turn it into Righteousness, by blessing it or putting a banner of marriage over it – this is simply a Lie of the Devil and is no different to Rome’s Magical Mass. If you challenge them regarding other sexual sins, like sodomy, they suddenly change their minds again, and state that their sinner’s prayer, blessing, or marriage banner cannot turn this sexual sin into Righteousness – why? Because if they stated it could, WHO in their right mind would believe them or believe anything else that they said (Satan would then lose those he has fooled and they would have the opportunity to escape his snare). Please Note: if the Lukewarm church had the power to sanctify sexual sin and restore Virginity, there would have to be a very clear Commandment from God in the New Testament stating so, as this would contradict God’s Original Commandments, and also because the penalty for sexual sin is Eternal Damnation – I can tell you that NO such Command exists, except in the minds of the false church deceived by Satan (and you would need at least 2 such very clear Witnesses/Commandments).

Question: EUNUCHS: Are you sure that eunuchs are from a dissolved marriage instead of those choosing to never marry?

The context of Matthew 19 in which Jesus is speaking, is regarding Marriage, Fornication and Adultery – in other words Jesus is addressing sexual activity and the consequences, rather than none/abstinence (for which there are no Damnable consequences) – therefore it is extremely unlikely that v12 (eunuchs) has nothing to do with what Jesus has stated in verses 4 to 11. Also, verse 11 starts with a negative (BUT), ruling out or you could say dismissing the disciples’ comment – why? because it is God who has instituted marriage and the parameters, not man. Hence what Jesus states regarding ‘Eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven’ in verse 12 is the consequence of what He has already spoken of, for those who do not qualify for Marriage because of sexual sin. Jesus using the term ‘Eunuch’ also emphasises strongly 2 further points:
a). Cutting off from the body, that which is used for sexual activity and therefore sexual sin so that this can no longer take place – Just as Jesus warns several times that it is better to cut off one’s hand/foot/eye than to Sin and Perish:
Mark 9 v 43: And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: 48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
Note: In other words ‘cutting some part of the body off’ is always linked to what Jesus warns, is Sin that will Damn – unless forsaken/we die to it – hence the strong language of ‘Eunuchs’ regarding ‘fornication’ / ‘Adultery (divorce/remarriage)’.
b). If even the world, which shall perish, is able to bear the conditions of being a Eunuch: ‘there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men’ – then anyone who is serious enough to deny self pick-up the cross and follow Christ, is able: ‘Eunuch for the Kingdom of Heaven’
To give you an example from Islam: if Muslims who DO NOT have, the Eternal Infallible Word’s of God in their hands (the Bible), can learn by heart the Koran (even in a foreign language – Arabic), then how much more should Born Again, Spirit filled Christians, be able to learn/memorise God’s Holy Word – yet most Christians today do not know their Bible and are using a corrupt Bible - hence the Lukewarm state of the church, at Christ’s Return: Luke 18 v 8b: when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

GOD’S FAMILY

Genesis 1 v 26-28: ‘And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it’

Psalm 127 v 3-5: Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Psalm 128 v 3-4: Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

Mark 10 v 13-16: And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and
his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

Satan instead teaches depopulation / the murder (abortion) or prevention (contraception) of children in the womb:

John 8 v 44: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

According to God’s Word, any Born Again Christian will be Anti-abortion and should be Anti-contraception - understand that a number of contraceptions not only prevent implantation but directly kills/destroys the embryo/baby.

Anyone promoting or encouraging Abortion or Contraception is doing the work of the Devil. The Lord Jesus Christ warns us clearly:

Matthew 12 v 30: He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

There is NO grey area / middle ground – it is the Devil who tries to promote this false ground – it is either The Kingdom of God or the kingdom of darkness – Full Stop.

1 John 3 v 6: Whosoever abideth in him (Christ) sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

GOD’S TRUE FAMILY FOREVER

Revelation 21 v 1: And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of
God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Revelation 22 v 1: And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the
nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Revelation 7 v 14: And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. 16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Revelation 22 v 13: I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
